Billroth Hospital is named after Dr.Theodre Billroth a famous surgical Gastroenterologist from Vienna, after whom many gastroenterological and surgical procedures have been named and today Billroth Hospital is a centre of excellence for all gastroenterological ailments.
Billroth hospital was started on 30 th November 1990, as a 30 bedded multispeciality hospital with all the basic amenities like A/c operation Theatres, X-ray, ECG, Ultrasound Scan, 24 Hours Lab and Pharmacy. The Hospital is now a 150 Bedded multispeciality Centre, treating patients in various branches of medical and surgical gastrenterology, obstertrics and gynaecology, Paediatrics, general and emergency medicine, Orhtopaedics, Opthalmology, ENT, Plastic surgery with a fully equipped IMCU.
Billroth Hospitals was approved by Government of India to provide Health care services under Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS).
